Audley A. Astwood is a spoken word artist and social activist. He writes powerfully and personally about the current state of the world from the perspective of a poet living outside of the so called global village. Audley A. Astwood’s most recent books are:  The Awakening, an exhilarating and refreshing poetic collection of a budding poet, and Illegal Thoughts?, an intriguing collection of poetry that showcased his growth as one of the next great poets. His forthcoming book and spoken word CD, Illegal Poet, is an original and controversial exploration of discrimination, consciousness, reconciliation, and sexuality. Throughout this new collection, sexual connotations are often times used with vivid imagery that takes you on a wild outlandish psychological ride. Audley A.
